IMPRESSIONS OF OUR HOMETOWN

 

Design with a specific cultural sight isn't an easy thing for every designer. There are numerous places and subcultures in the world. We can't experience or understand all of them, but we try our best to interpret correctly.

 

This dance production, Impressions of Our Hometown, made from LEI Dance Theater which focuses on telling Taiwan story by their body, and choreographing performance across western and eastern, dance and drama. The designer derived the idea from their spirit to create an ethnic culture graphic. All composition is traditional culture.
